What would the world be like if we were all the same? What if we all looked alike, lived the same lifestyles, wore the same clothing, ate the same foods, celebrated the same holidays, believed the same things? Our world would be quite different, one lacking interest and dimension. Instead, one of the great gifts with which human beings have been blessed is the diverse nature and innate individuality of each and every one of us. Our very existence calls for celebration! Sure, our differences can be difficult, even impossible, to understand but, when embraced and unconditionally accepted, it is those differences that can decorate our lives in colors more vivid than the eye can perceive. Radiating from deep within each of us is a spectrum of our own unique and spectacular hues, colors so brilliant that they can be seen and felt only when given from the heart. So, what would the world be like if we each had an open heart, enlightened by a myriad of brilliant colors that emanate from each human spirit, painting the canvas of our lives with dimension and perspective that illuminates the world with understanding and compassion and proliferates love and happiness?
