Jeff S. Bradshaw Named "Teneesee State Designer of the Year"

Jeff S. Bradshaw, AIFD, floral designer at Rebel Hill Florist, won the title “2009 Tennessee State Designer of the Year” during competition at the recent annual statewide convention of the Tennessee State Florists’ Association (TSFA). Bradshaw is the only designer in the competition’s history to win 1^st Place in every judging category: bridal bouquet, sympathy arrangement, permanent botanical design, and “surprise package”, which requires the designer to create an arrangement that incorporates unusual items and materials. Bradshaw’s win marks the third time that he has received the top honor from TSFA; he was also named “Tennessee State Designer of the Year” in 1999 and 2003.

Bradshaw has been associated with Rebel Hill Florist since 2000. In 2003, he was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD). In July 2006, Bradshaw was one of only 23 floral designers in the world selected to make a presentation at the prestigious National Symposium of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) in Washington, D.C. Bradshaw’s additional honors include designation as “Designer of the Year” in 2002, 2004 and 2007 by the Central Tennessee Professional Florist Association (CTPFA). The Memphis Florist Association recognized Bradshaw as “Designer of the Year” in 1993 and again in 1998. His designs have been featured in Southern Living, Southern Accents and Veranda magazines.

Rebel Hill Florist is one Nashville’s largest independently owned florists and is a direct importer of floral and interior design and gift products from Europe. Earlier this year, Rebel Hill Florist was named for the fifth consecutive year to the prestigious Top 250 Florists of the Year list compiled annually by Teleflora International, the world’s largest floral wire service.
